Community and Cultural Arts Education Assets

The California Arts Education Framework operates as a touchstone for the goals, academic languages, and thought processes that community and cultural assets should be familiar with when working with K-12 students in California schools.

Community and cultural assets, sometimes referred to as “arts providers”, including museums and museum educators, teaching artists, theaters, and symphonies, can provide unique support for students as they develop artistic literacy.
